Chicago native Eric is the host of HGTV's Over Your Head, author of the new Do-It-Yourself FAMILY, correspondent for The Insider and one of People magazine's "Sexiest Men Alive." His passion for the arts and an early break in commercials led Eric to enroll in the University of Colorado's theater department. After realizing a structured curriculum in drama was not satisfying, he found his niche in construction. Eric spent four years painting and putting crown molding in just about every house in Colorado, which laid the foundation for his future career. Over Your Head is a series that focuses on how homeowners deal with the aftermath of a renovation project gone bad. That's when Eric's team comes to save the day.
