2) The Television well this one we really like to see up and out of the way. If you can have your TV up on a wall this will give you the most space and create a nice open feel to your room.

a)The thing with TV's now is they come with so many other electronics that attach to them, like the video setups and rock band game stations and these take up lots of space.

b)If you must keep your TV games and toys in the living room we suggest that you have a nice cabinet to fit all the electronics in so that all the cords and accessories will fit and be out of view.

3) Make a point in your room a focal point if you have a fireplace this is always a great focal point of your space.

4) Create small little areas of your room as gathering places a nice corner table with two chairs if you have the space is great and also makes for a great reading spot. Make it cozy so that you enjoy the space.

5) The living room is the most highly traffic area in your home from the entry way through make sure that you carpeting does not so wear and tare, clean it regularly with weekly vacuuming and once every few months or once a year have it professionally cleaned depending on the amount of use in your home.

Beautiful throw pillows, nice flower arrangements, candles and your favorite nick knacks add for nice touches and can change up the look of your space at very little to no cost to you. Window dressing will also make a big change not only from the inside of your home but what also shows to the outside world.

Take a step back when looking to makeover your room and look at it from different angles. Does the furniture look better from one side of the room, is the placement better if you arrange some pieces of the furniture or take a few away and maybe add them to a family room, or guest room. Sometimes a simple little change can make a world of difference.
