Some Tips for staging your home

If you are staging your home for sale then it is best to pay close attention to the weather.

If there is snow outside be sure all walkways are clear, snow is shoveled off driveways, pathways and steps leading to your home.

Be sure there is no ice anywhere on your property.

If it is windy be sure that all trees are trimmed back and no loose branches that could fall away.

Have good welcome mat or rug that your potential buyers can clean off their shoes, so that it is not slippery for them in wet weather conditions, and also so that they are no tracking snow and water into your home.

Make sure all snow and ice are off the windows and tops of doors on the house. Be sure to look for ice cycles that can fall off on top of ledges of doors or in corners of porches.

If your time frame and schedule allow for it early spring and summer are the best times to put your home on the market.
